PLURALS

1.REGULAR PLURAL: '-S'
simply adds a '-s'.

Examples:
phone      =phones
bird=birds           
car=cars


2. WORDS ENDING IN '-ES'
Nouns ending in '-ch', '-s', '-sh', '-x' and '-z' are added '-es'

Examples:
bench      =benches
Kiss=kisses       
Wish=wishes    
Box=boxes         
Quiz=quizzes


3.PLURAL RULE '-IES' (CONSONANT) + 'Y' '-IES'
If a noun ends in a consonant followed by the letter '-y' form the plural in'-ies'

Examples:
Lady=ladies       
Baby=babies


4. PLURAL OF (CONSONANT) + 'OR' '-OES'
A few nouns ending in consonant + 'or' form their plural in '-es'.

Examples:
Potato=potatoes
Tomato=tomatoes


5.PLURALS IN '-F' OR '-FE' '-VES'
words ending in "-f" or "-fe" is replaced by "ves"

Examples:
Knife=knives     
Life=lives
Wife=wives        
Wolf=wolves
